Fall in Maine

The new job is going great but keeping me really busy! Still working at the old job evenings until a replacement is found and teaching Monday nights. I grabbed my camera last week on the way to the grocery store and snapped some pics of the foliage. It has changed a lot even just in a week. I'll try to get some updated shots at their peak. It really is beautiful and the weather has been so warm.

Weight loss update

Well, TJ and Hope are still on the diet and exercise kick. Hope is now down 42 lbs and is only 5 lbs away from her goal weight. TJ is down 102 and is trying to maintain that weight. They have been running as a form of exercise and have decided to try for a marathon by next summer. The first goal is a 1/2 marathon in February. They are both looking and feeling great! I've attached a before and after pic of TJ taken almost exactly a year apart.

We rented an awesome house in Kona and 2 of TJ's sisters (Cindy and Kathy) along with Kathy's husband, Jim, and his daughter, Amanda, joined us. There were geckos everywhere. it was great!
